Christmas Party and Talent Show

For the Christmas season this year we tried out a different type of artisan appreciation party entitled “TVI’s Got Talent.” Artisans and Thai Village staff came together to celebrate each others’ unique gifts with games, prizes, and a very entertaining talent show. The food was made by our very own seamstress manager Suey and a team of other artisans and was more than delicious. And, most importantly, the Christmas story was shared with many people.

Started off the talent show with these two performing some good ol’ fashioned song and dance.

Spectators were on the edge of their seats when fire was introduced to the talent show. But this man controlled the fire well and created a beautiful nativity scene in less than 2 minutes.

This sack dance got everyone laughing and moving to the front of the seating area to take pictures. A very fun performance by a team of four.

One of the games included artisan participation in decorating 3 human Christmas trees. These “trees” were created in just 3 minutes with limited materials.

Our manager Suey cooked this delicious meal of garlic pork, soup, rice, and fruit. Needless to say, people went back to the buffet for seconds, and thirds, and… well, you get the point.

This game required audience participation as well, with candy and other treats hidden in a ball that needed to be opened quickly before the buzzer.
