In February, Thai Village revisited our purpose with our ministry partners: Promise Church, WELS Thailand, and Aroma Lanna Ministries. To celebrate the milestones from last year we met in a new location, inviting each department to share highlights from the year, and reviewing our purpose as a team. Stay tuned for stories shared by staff in the upcoming annual report!

This March, our matched savings stewardship program was so full, there was no room for tables! A record 24 participants attended in a stewardship seminar led by a local expert. This year, participants reported using their savings to be able to pay for their children’s education, build a house, invest in corn planting, and pay for their child’s birth.

Thai Village launched a new “Strong Families” debt relief program in partnership with Promise Church. Our new Lanna Development Foundation is offering this pilot program following biblical principles. The program provides debt relief, financial seminars, and monthly consultation throughout the year. Please pray for wisdom and help for those struggling with insurmountable debt.
