Only two months into the year and already so much has happened! This year started with a big move to our new training facilities.
We spent our very first day back after New Year’s break visiting our new building site. Our team walked through and prayed in each room, envisioned the people the spaces would bless, and brainstormed ways that we would love to see the new building used for good. The next few days we packed up the old office and by the end of the week, we were all moved into the new training facility. Exhausted but happy! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the move!
On January 28, 2026 we were honored to celebrate together with over 200 guests, artisans, community partners, and district leaders as we dedicated this new training facility to the Lord.
The ceremony included songs from staff members, a video of the building progress, a speech from the district mayor, a dedication ceremony led by Pastor Niran, a testimony from an artisan, and ribbon cutting from both the Lanna Development Foundation and Thai Village board of directors.
Also included was an exhibition of the programs of Lanna Development Foundation (the Thai Village arm in Thailand). Many of the guests were able to participate in a tour of the new facilities, while also getting the chance to meet the Thai Village staff and Promise church leaders.
There is no way that Thai Village would be where we are today without YOU! Your support through purchases, gifts, and prayers has been invaluable. Thank you doesn’t seem like it’s a big enough word! Please know that we appreciate you so much!
