God at work

Each year our team in Thailand meets for a day long review of the past year and realigning again around our purpose. This year each manager and staff shared from their perspectives on the different ways they have seen God at work the past year.

One of the stories shared is of an artisan named Lah. Lah is construction worker who had an accident on the job and now is unable to walk. He is a very motivated man who wants to support his family but it is hard for him to travel and he is limited in the number of hours he can be out of the house. He was referred to Thai Village by another organization in Chiang Mai who provided transportation for him to come in for training.

Lah learned so quickly that he finished his project and his wife came back on her lunch break for more by the next day. Thai Village managers have been struck by his situation and his determination to work, and have been praying for creative solutions and projects that will work for him.
