Baby’s First Bible is an interactive soft book including six stories from the life of Jesus: the birth of Jesus, the shepherds and angels, wisemen bringing gifts, children coming to Jesus, Jesus’ death and burial, and Jesus’ ascension.  Intended for young children aged 0-3.  Size: 9.5” x 7.25” x 2”

This fabric Bible is a perfect gift for young members of the family to begin to introduce them to the Bible.  The book was a collaborative effort of many hands at Thai Village, including local designers, managers, sewers, hand stitchers, and packagers.  We are thankful for the beauty of hands working together to provide community and income generation.

The beautiful workmanship of our artisans is something that they learn through vocational skills trainings offered at Thai Village. Economic self-sufficiency is a foundational principle to Thai Village.  Individuals we work with who express special interest in particular crafts or trades are encouraged and trained to further develop their skills and passions.  This often leads to much needed income generation. This means an increase in the artisan’s ability to support themselves and their family, which is wonderful!  Thai Village has supported nationals in programs such as stitching, sewing, dressmaking, tin carving, silver-smithing, soap making, paper making, and jewelry designing.
